Jorge Gonzales

A veteran attorney, Jorge Gonzales is a staunch advocate and vital resource for his clients in divorce, custody, and other family law cases. He helps individuals and families navigate challenging legal situations with skill, compassion, and sound guidance.

Licensed to practice law in California since 2010, Jorge is an experienced litigator and has guided those he represents through every stage of the legal process. He is equally skilled and effective with settlement negotiations as he is at trial.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Jorge can communicate directly with a diverse range of clients and serve families from many backgrounds.

Outside of the courtroom, Jorge is deeply involved in his community. He served as a pro bono contract attorney for the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, allowing him to help countless individuals access legal services and representation. He also served as the director of the Pay It Forward Leadership Program and has moderated panels on awareness and prevention of domestic violence.

Jorge holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Iberian Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. From there, he began his legal journey at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where he earned his Juris Doctor.

When not fighting for his clients, Jorge can often be found spending time with his own family. He’s also an avid snowboarder and fisherman, and is passionate about coaching youth baseball.
